श्रीपद्यवाली श्लोक १ (छन्द : वसन्ततिलकम)
पद्यावली विरचित रसिकैर्मुकुन्द-
सम्बन्ध-बन्धुर-पदा प्रमोदर्मिसिंधुः।
रम्या समस्ततमसां दामनी क्रमेण
संगृह्यते कृतिकदम्बक-कौतुकाय।
अनुवाद
श्रीकृष्ण के सम्बन्ध में परम मनोहर पदों से युक्त, अतएव आनन्दतरङ्गों की
समुद्रस्वरूपा एवं समस्त अज्ञानता विनाशकारिणी परम रमणिया यह पद्यावली ,
भक्तिरस के रसिक भक्तगणों के द्वारा निर्मित हुई है। समस्त भक्तों के परम
आनंद के लिए यह सङ्कलन किया गया है।
śrīpadyavālī Verse 1 (meter : vasantatilakam)
padyāvalī viracita rasikairmukunda-
sambandha-bandhura-padā pramodarmisiṃdhuḥ.
ramyā samastatamasāṃ dāmanī krameṇa
saṃgṛhyate kṛtikadambaka-kautukāya.
Translation
This Padyavali (Anthology of Poetry) was written by devotees expert in
the mellows of devotional service. This book contains many beautiful
verses, which have been collected for the pleasure of the devotees. It
illuminates the darkness of ignorance, and it is an ocean of
transcendental bliss.
श्रीपद्यवाली श्लोक २ (छन्द : अनुष्टुभ्)
नमो नलिननेत्राय वेणुवाद्यविनोदिने।
राधाधर-सुधापान-शालीने वनमालिने।
अनुवाद
जिनके दोनों नेत्र विकसित कमल के सदृश है और जो भक्तों के आनंद के हेतु वेणुवाद्य क्रीड़ा में तत्पर है, एवं जो श्रीराधिका के अधरामृत पान करते हैं, वनमाला से सुशोभित ऐसे श्री कृष्ण के लिए हमारा बारम्बार नमस्कार है।
śrīpadyavālī Verse 2 (meter : anushtubh)
namo nalinanetrāya veṇuvādyavinodine.
rādhādhara-sudhāpāna-śālīne vanamāline.
rādhādhara-sudhāpāna-śālīne vanamāline.
Translation
To śrī kṛṣṇa, whose eyes are beautiful like lotus flowers, who delights in playing the flute, who drinks the nectar of Radharani's lips, and who is garlanded with forest flowers, I offer my respectful obeisances.
श्रीपद्यवाली श्लोक ३ (छन्द : शार्दूलविक्रीड़ितम)
भक्तिप्रह्व-विलोकन-प्रणयनी नीलोत्पल-स्पर्धिनी
ध्यानालम्बनतां समधिनिरतैर्नीते हिताप्राप्तये।
लावण्येकमहानिधी रसिकतां राधादृशोस्तनवती
युष्माकं कुरुतां भवार्तिशमनं नेत्रे तनूर्वा हरेः।
अनुवाद
भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के नेत्रयुगल अथवा श्रीविग्रह, जिनको भक्तगण प्रेमपूर्ण दृष्टि से देखते रहते हैं, जो नीलकमल के सुन्दरता को म्लान कर देते है, शुभता प्राप्ति के लिए जिन पर योगीगण ध्यान करते हैं, जो सुंदरता का एक महान सागर है, और जो राधारानी की आँखों को प्रेमामृत से भर देता है, वह आपके समस्त भौतिक कष्टों का शमन करे।
śrīpadyavālī Verse 3 (meter: (śārdūlavikrīr̤itama)
bhaktiprahva-vilokana-praṇayanī nīlotpala-spardhinī
dhyānālambanatāṃ samadhiniratairnīte hitāprāptaye.
lāvaṇyekamahānidhī rasikatāṃ rādhādṛśostanavatī
yuṣmākaṃ kurutāṃ bhavārtiśamanaṃ netre tanūrvā hareḥ.
May Lord Hari's eyes or form, on which the devotees lovingly gage, which rivals the splendor of blue lotuses, on which the yogis meditate to achieve auspiciousness, which is a great ocean of handsomeness, and which fills Radharani's eyes with the nectar of love, quell for you the sufferings of material life.
